A Few General Thoughts and Links to Some Good Posts

Ok, smoking and drinking pop thing going well so far today. Day #2. I've bought no pop and I haven't had any to drink. Water still tastes bad but it's better than expensive drinks! Smoking is going ok too but not as easy. Still smoking half of what I'm used to, and trying to break habits such as smoking in the car on the way to the store and similar things. Once I'm used to lighting up less than before I'm going to cut it in half again...I'm thinking 3-4 weeks or so to get used to smoking less. So far I've had 8 cigs today and it's almost supper time. That's definately an improvement.

I'm painting an angel painting today. Kind of fun...an underwater angel. Well sort of. I'll share pics when it's done. Also working on a few miniatures to send out to those Soldiers Angels who have requested them for their adoptees.

And then there's the sanding the kitchen cabinets. That's not fun at all. Sanding all the paint off of them to repaint them and make them look nice. What a messy, dirty, dusty job! All that sawdust everywhere....I should take a picture of my hair! I'd fit right in as a member of some heavy metal rock band.

We're trying to get our house nice enough to sell. Not an easy job. Anyone want to buy a house? We're replacing the kitchen floor completely, replacing all the kitchen countertops with new ones, repainting and in some rooms replacing plaster walls with sheetrocked ones, and all those small jobs that add up to alot of time such as replacing moldings, removing wallpaper and replacing light fixtures. I sure hope we can sell this house for at least $150,000. I want it on the market ASAP, but that means getting this work done pronto...and doing it ourselves.
