Veteran's Day - How Will You Spend It?

Here's a few things to do on Veteran's Day:
Visit the Library of Congress' Veterans History Project. You can listen to audio interviews and watch video clips of veterans who have great stories to tell. You can also read 100's of great stories from veterans of all branches.
You can also read this book online, as well as several others.
Teach your kids about Veteran's Day and its meaning with crafts and learning tools like these. For young children ages K - 5th grade, visit this cool website with them to help them learn about this important holiday. For the older kids ages 6th grade - 12th grade, visit this great website packed with games, information and volunteer resources.
Visit our wounded. If you can't do that...write a letter to one. Email me for more information if you'd like to do either one.
