New Book Encourages Americans To Support Our Troops

Yes, I have another book out there, but this time it's not a children's book (fun as those are). This book is a non-fiction book, and I very much hope that it will inspire and encourage its readers to support our troops on an individual and personal level. The name of the book is From Here To There and is a collection of true short stories from my personal experiences supporting our troops as a Soldiers Angel, and also includes letters from our troops as well.
If you are a long time reader of my blog many of the stories may be familiar, however I've taken the time to add to these stories somewhat so reading it will not be redundant. I am hoping that the book will touch those who are not blog readers (the horror!), and I'm hoping it will encourage our troops as well as they read stories of support from home.
Once again I self published the book (just too nervous of those big publishers), and so it can be purchased at Amazon.com and lulu.com. This one has an ISBN number and I hope to have it available at Barnes & Noble and maybe other bookstores as well but we'll have to see how it goes. You can also purchase the book for download in pdf format (instead of buying a printed copy) at lulu.com. The book is 110 pages in paperback.
The official press release will be tomorrow, but here it is for those of you that are interested:
New Book Encourages Americans To Support Our Troops
From Here To There: an intimate look at the joys and sorrows of supporting our troops, by author Holly Aho.FEBRUARY 5, 2006— From Here To There is the story of author Holly Aho’s involvement in supporting our troops as a member of Soldiers’ Angels. Taking readers through her own personal experiences visiting the wounded, meeting the families of fallen heroes and encouraging those still serving in Iraq and Afghanistan, Holly gives an intimate look at the work of a Soldiers’ Angel.
Also filled with letters from soldiers serving in Iraq and Afghanistan, From Here to There gives readers an inside look at the many ways they can become involved in supporting our troops on a personal level. From boot camp through a celebrated return home from the front lines, from our wounded in recovery to consoling the families of fallen heroes, these stories of encouragement, pride, laughter and sorrow will move every American’s heart.
From Here To There is available for purchase at www.lulu.com, and in Amazon.com’s Marketplace.
“Our troops are supported when they feel that support on a personal level,” says Holly. “It is my hope this book will inspire its readers to do what they can to make sure no soldier goes unloved, no soldier be forgotten, no soldier walk alone, until they all come home.”
